Two man underwent a dramatic quest to fund their own engineering company in the middle of the Great Depression. The cunning clerk and corporate official created Shadow Industries from the sweat of their brows, unfortunately due to a critical injury the main founder died leaving his wife to give birth alone. Many generations later, this man's son, a shape-shifter from his mother's side, is the current owner.
