ABANDONED DISTRICT this is the part of shadow hollow where no human dares go after night! there are abandoned buildings, warehouses, houses, parks and many other things that are so nasty and torn down, that it's not safe for even the animals and wolves that might live there. BUSINESS DISTRICT many creatures living in shadow hollow have adapted to a more technological lifestyle. most have jobs, run stores, drive cars. but there are a few exceptions in this magical town of supernatural beings that just don't want to commit to the times and get a car, or cell phone. they are stuck in the dark ages, limiting themselves to mail and visits to communicate with other beings. here you will find all the stores and shops and clubs in the business district of this small magical town. HOLLOW HOSPITAL the hospital in shadow hollow is well-known for it's innovative medicines for creatures of the sleepy little town. some of the doctors them selves are vamps and shifters. they use witch craft and natural medicines to help heal those creatures who are unfortunate enough not to die in battle. this hospital also has a psychiatric ward attached to it, the only one in southern louisiana. THE HOLLOW this is the hollow in the woods surrounding the small town. many animals roam the roods night, hunting for food and hunting for disturbances that are going to erupt the life they have created in the city itself. many humans in the area refuse to enter the woods, they have heard the horror stories of wolves and bears. |

HOUSING DISTRICT this is the least seen part of town by tourists that do end up passing through. there are run down apartments and broken-down houses. vampires just need a hole in the ground to sleep in, but everyone else needs somewhere to live. keep in mind, some of them don't have tons of money. at least not that they worked hard for. ( to claim a house, post in the first board). |

OLD NEW ORLEANS RUM DISTILLERY old new orleans is the brand of rum, and celebration distillation at 2815 Frenchmen Street is the site of the distillery. it's an old warehouse converted to hold the still, created in the early 1900's. the still is no longer in service, but some creatures use the warehouse to create their own concoctions or hold meetings. |

BOURBON STREET is a famous and historic street that runs the length of the french quarter. known mostly for it's nightlife and mardi gras celebrations! there are shops, restaurants, bars, karaoke clubs and strip clubs! the section of bourbon street from the intersection of st. ann street proceeding several blocks northeast caters to new orleans' thriving gay community, featuring such clubs as new orleans' largest gay nightclub, the bourbon pub, and oz. st. ann street has been referred to as "the velvet line", in reference to it being the edge or boundary line of the gay community in the french quarter. THE GULF OF MEXICO here lies the beach and coastline of louisiana on the gulf of mexico. ravished from the hurricanes, the beach is not usually inhabited by humans wanting to sunbathe. it's over run with creatures and squatters living on the sandy rocks for housing and swimming in the salty water to bathe. during the day, mostly it's dead, but the beach comes alive at night. |

AROUND THE WORLD sometimes creatures need to travel to get out of the town where they are losing friends and their numbers are vastly decreasing. they go to england to hide out, or italy to visit a monastery for a while. fairies like to go to south america to the amazon and wolves go to africa. shape-shifters tend to stay in the states, they are the most human besides the witches and hunters. |
