Lucky was one of those people that were just curious about all things especially those that were suppose to be off limits. A lot of times it got her in trouble, though she always seemed to manage to get out of it, mostly from her natural charm, but sometimes it didnt always work. Tonight was no different. She should have been elsewhere, but instead she found her self at the lalaurie house. She had heard the stories about the house, knew it was rumored to be one of the most haunted places around and really that should have tipped her off of it right away. Instead it merely piqued her interest even more. Things like that were far too interesting to pass up.
Biting her lip she made her way through the yard, the house looming in front of her, dark and mystical. Lucky wasnt very good at being alert, rarely did she ever look around her to make sure she was in the clear. She never really thought about it, not even when shed heard of some of the attacks on her kind or well anyone in general. She was only a small girl, a fairy at that. Its not like she had super human strength, or magical powers. No... well she did have one power and really it worked well for her so she didnt complain.
The house was slightly eerie and maybe it was her imagination but it seemed like there was a light fog around it. Yeah it definitely had to be her imagination that was stuff you saw in the movies not real life... right? The porch creaked a little, but the sound was barely in her hearing, her focus was on the door and how eager she was to step inside the house. It was an amazing house.
The door was open, surprisingly. She had expected it to be locked, most places like this were, then again there has probably been a lot of kids and other people coming through here just because of the rumors about it. She gave one look around before entering the house. She was half hoping to see something and half hoping not to, her chest was tight with a mix of anticipation and fear, though the want to experience was bigger then her fear for what could possibly happen.
She closed the door gently, the only light in the place was the bits of the moonlight that came in through the windows, otherwise it was dark. As she moved through the rooms, she kept her ears open for sounds as her large blue eyes took in the things that had been left in the house. When she was entering the sitting room she heard something and she stilled her movements, tilting her head towards the sound. It was faint and as she waited longer hoping to hear it more, it was gone. Sighing she made her way to the book shelves, there were some books still there. She pulled one down flipping through it, forgetting to listen as her attention was pulled to the book instead
