_ RULES
RESERVATIONS
please reserve your character before applying if they are a canon. it's not hard, but you don't have to be registered to do that. also make sure to claim a power/species first as well. if you don't, we won't even look at your application. it just makes things a heck of a lot easier and less confusing. also, if you feel the need to change a play-by, just ask the admin. they probably won't care, but it's fair to ask.
APPLICATIONS
please don't mess with the application, just fill it out as is. it's not that hard to do. please include a head shot of your play-by. i want to see who it is you will be playing. please include as much detail as possible. please post your application with the name of your character as the tread title, no need to be overly-creative there. please also make sure that your display name is the first, middle, and last name of your character in ALL CAPS! you will have over a week to complete your application before it gets denied and deleted. please pay attention to that.
CANONS/ORIGINALS
we have canons here, and would like to get those filled before a million originals start to fly on in here, so please check out that list. also, we only have so many species slots and want to fill those too. so please if you have one vampire, don't make another, make a fairy or hunter. also, please watch out for genders, we don't want to be overrun with one or the other. also please make your characters have flaws, no one likes someone who's sexy and perfect.
AVATARS/SIGNATURES
please use them. they help in distinguishing what characters look like and they have pretty faces! please don't allow you signature to stretch the page, so please keep it under five hundred pixels wide. the height doesn't matter, but not too big please. also, keep in mind that if you have a werewolf or shape-shifter, it might be nice to see what they change into included into your signature as well. pick play bys that match the scene. paris hilton would not be caught dead in this place. please don't use any nude or rated x photos, sexy is ok, but not naked.
WORD COUNT/C-BOX
please be respectful in the c-box. if there are issues please pm an admin and let them handle it so that things don't get out of hand. also, we don't have a definite word limit on this site, but if i catch people trying to get by with just a few lines, i will have to say something. please try to write a paragraph. at least enough that someone can reply to it.
MATURE CONTENT
when using mature content, please rate the tread. it's not hard, just do it so that when others go in to read it they are not surprised by what's going to happen. also, please keep the cursing to a low minimum. we don't need them to be every other word, but if your character has a dirty mouth, that's cool. mature treads have violence or sex in them.
LAST THOUGHTS...
i think that covers everything, please just be nice, respect others and have fun. that is what it's all about. treat others the way you want to be treated, didn't we all learn that in kindergarten? ask if you have any problems and everything will run smoothly! put 'admin edited' as the rules word on the app.
